So Long Ago by Richard Bausch

Assignment #1, Click on the link above and read this memory piece by Richard Bausch. Take a moment to think of one of your memories, a specific memory from your childhood, a family memory, or an outing or something funny, something you can recall in vivid detail. We will talk about it more in class.

From Crystal Ward,
This reading made me think of my past memories. It brought up things I haven't thought about in a long time. It made my heart ache a little as well. THinking of all my relatives and friends. But most of all the things my family used to do with one aonther. The way the author uses great detail puts you right in the place he remembers. I feel like I could have been there with him. This passage is a sentimental passage to the author but it can open your mind on how other people lives are not so different as your own. Yes, different things happen to each one of us but we all have family and friends that we care about. That is one thing everyone can relate to one another with. I enjoyed the reading.
