RESEARCH PAPER # 2, topic for ALL: GLOBAL WARMING

Class:
1, This week there are no regular classes scheduled.
I am giving you this time to rewrite your research papers so that you can come prepared to your scheduled conference with me on Tuesday or Thursday morning this week. You are expected to rewrite the paper one more time after we meet.

FINAL RESEARCH PAPERS ARE DUE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 13

2, Also during this week you are expected to begin researching your GLOBAL WARMING paper. You'll need to read widely on this topic and I've posted five articles on the left hand column of this blog to get you started. I'll post others too. Please read these articles (and others you find on your own. You'll find that many of the articles I've posted have links to other articles on similar topics). Write one commentary about the article that interests you most. Post it on this blog, using the standard format. Remember to pull quotes to support your claims.

3, Come to class on Tuesday, November 13th with some opinions, questions, ideas, complaints, insights, revelations -- SOMETHING, to say about GLOBAL WARMING. Remember, because this is one of the most heated debates of our time try and focus on one aspect of global warming -- politics, fashion, social arguments, specific environmental examples, etc

HAVE A GOOD WEEK. See you at your conference.
